On September 17, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences (FOSS) at UIII marked the beginning of the academic year with the first day of Convocation. The event featured inspiring speeches from the rector, dean, and lecturers, setting a motivational tone for the year ahead. The highlight was the recitation of the Student Pledge of Honor, led by La Ode Vidino Islamy Shaqban from the Master of Public Policy focusing on the Climate Change program. While not all could attend, FOSS proudly welcomed 71 new students to its vibrant academic community. Here’s to an exciting journey ahead.
