On October 3, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences at UIII hosted Brownbag Series #57, featuring Evan Laksmana as the speaker. Laksmana, a Senior Fellow for Southeast Asia Military Modernisation of International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), delivered an engaging presentation on The 2024 US Presidential Election and the Possible US Foreign Policy Direction towards Southeast Asia.
