On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, the Faculty of Social Sciences (FOSS) at UIII will host the fifth session of the Climate Talk series. Professor Anna Gade from the University of Wisconsin-Madison will deliver a lecture on “Muslim Environmentalisms: Religious and Social Foundations,” based on her acclaimed book. The event will take place in the Teleconference Room, Faculty B Building, UIII. This talk will explore the religious and social aspects of Muslim environmentalism, and the faculty is looking forward to welcoming Professor Gade as a visiting professor in September 2024.
