On June 13, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences at UIII hosted a public lecture titled “Linking Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Social Sciences” by Thomas B. Pepinsky, the Walter F. LaFeber Professor in the Department of Government and Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University, and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. The lecture, held at the Theater Hall, Faculty A Building, UIII, kicked off the 3rd Summer Training on Qualitative and Quantitative Methods (STQ2M). It explored how researchers can combine the power of numbers and stories in social sciences, offering valuable insights for students, researchers, and anyone interested in research methods.
